Synthestra Music, the company formed in 1986 by Glenn Meade, operates a studio with extensive equipment designed for composition, sound design, and film/video/theater scoring, along with digital recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.

In the studio, Glenn Meade records, edits, and masters music digitally for CD production. He performed all the digital editing for Chicago a cappella's CD "Go Down, Moses," edited and mastered their "Holidays a cappella Live" CD, and edits, mixes, and masters the Chicago a cappella CDs for Hinshaw Music Publishers "New Music Issues."

Equipped with an advanced ProTools HD system (24 bit/96 kHz), the studio's specialty is meticulous editing and mixing of portions from multiple takes of audio material to make a seamless complete version. With an extensive background in music, composition, and recording, Glenn can solve problems with timing, tuning, overdubbing, noise removal, and other situations included in audio material.

Material to be edited or mastered can be transferred using Hard Disk, CD-RW, DAT, or Hi-8 (Tascam D-88). The studio is equipped with an extensive array of hardware and plug-in effects and tools as well as a complete MIDI system with multiple synths and samplers.
